End-user license agreement

A personal Veil license.

Effective August 29, 2026.

License grant

Your one-time purchase grants you a non-transferable personal license to use Veil on up to two Macs you control. Updates to Veil are included without an additional fee.

Restrictions

You may not resell license keys, bypass activation limits, distribute modified copies, or reverse engineer Veil except where applicable law expressly permits it.

Safety

Veil is a privacy aid, not a substitute for locking your Mac where access control is required. Display compatibility varies. Keep Control–Escape — the same shortcut that veils and unveils — available and test your setup during the trial.

Warranty and liability

Veil is provided as-is to the extent permitted by law. Liability is limited to the amount you paid for Veil. Rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.

Termination

The license ends if you materially breach these terms. Termination never disables Veil’s unveil or display-recovery paths.
